You have to apply for a tourist visa to visit Sri Lanka. This can be done via a secure online system operated by the Immigration and Emigration Department (www.eta.gov.lk). Please print out your visa and have it ready for inspection when you check-in. Some airlines will not allow you to board the aircraft if you do not have a valid visa for your holiday. On the flight you will be asked to fill in an arrival card. Please have this ready to show the border services once you disembark from the plane. The field asking for your address in Sri Lanka, should be filled with the address of your first hotel or guesthouse.
